Account Manager

The Account Manager is the lead for a customer from initial sales opportunity through ongoing satisfaction. They determine the strategy to maximize account value. The Account Manager’s charter is to ensure success at a customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Nurture and develop relationships with M-Factor clients
  • Renew and generate incremental revenues from existing clients
  • Ensure delivery and satisfaction and value capture from M-Factor solutions
  • Manage executive-level sponsor relationships with our clients - serving as their trusted advisor
  • Oversee the implementation and delivery of M-Factor solutions with major CPG clients
  • Optimize the effectiveness of a cross-functional account team including account sales executives, day-to-day implementation teams, and customer support
  • Manage interaction with 3rd party partners and integrators
  • Develop strategies to avoid and/or mitigate project risks

Requirements:

  • Strong CPG Background - either working for a CPG company for a service provider for a CPG company
  • Software implementation background - either for a client, management consultant or systems integrator
  • P&L responsibility for major accounts or products
  • Proven track record selling large consulting or intangibles engagements
  • Experience working with 3rd party consulting and systems implementation partners
  • Experience and proven track record in concisely reporting project progress to senior executives and to customer executives
  • Excellent verbal communication - including the ability to speak effectively to C-level audiences
    Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • A strong process and strategic orientation
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; an advanced business or technical degree preferred
  • Willingness to travel 30-50%
