Responsibilities:

Consultants in Advisory Services work across multiple client projects solving strategic issues for customers. Leveraging M-Factor’s analytical software platform, consultants drive significant value for clients through engagement on issues such as marketing effectiveness, trade promotions planning, and pricing strategy. They are responsible for assisting our clients to access and interpret business insights from our solution and to integrate those insights into their decision-making routine.

Consultants are also an integral part of the M-Factor product implementation process, working with technical consultants on initial solution design and specification, definition of deliverables, and evaluation of data inputs.

Additionally, as part of a growing practice, Consultants in Advisory Services will help develop the tools, methodologies and best practices within a fast-growing company. They will be expected to collaborate in a dynamic environment with Account Management, Product Management, and Engineering to maximize customer value and produce world-class software.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with consumer packaged goods or retail industries - particularly related to marketing or marketing research
• Superior analytic and strategic problem solving skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven ability to prepare and deliver client presentations to C level audiences
• Experience in a consulting environment preferred
• Previous exposure to marketing analytics and mix models preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required; an advanced business or technical degree preferred
• Principal place of work will be in the M-Factor offices in San Mateo, CA
• Willingness to travel 30%
