Implementation Manager

Implementation Managers are highly analytical, technically minded, and able to implement sophisticated software solutions. They also possess excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills used in working directly with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business users and translate their requirements into functional specifications
  • Design and perform hands-on technical configuration of the solution
  • Manage the overall implementation of the solution from a technical perspective
  • Provide ongoing support of the solution in a hosted environment
  • Assessing the impact of new customer requirements and creating the design to deliver that request
  • Triaging customer requests and recommending/implementing the changes to the configuration of customer instances
  • Help drive the development of the Professional Services practice, creating the tools, methodologies, and best practices within a fast growing company
  • Collaborate in a dynamic environment with the Account Management, Product Management and Engineering teams to drive customer value and create world-class software

Requirements:

  • Very strong technical implementation skills. Training as a software developer is not required, but experience with scripting and programming languages is a plus
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly achieve deep expertise in the domain
  • Inquisitive mind in the realm for troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Demonstrated success at data analysis or data modeling
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis in programs such as Matlab, SAS or advanced Excel
  • 3+ years experience in implementing enterprise-class business applications, such as business intelligence, CRM, data mining, or analytics packages
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (presentation, verbal, and written)
  • Experience with mathematical modeling, or econometric modeling in particular, is a plus
  • Technical Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and self-motivated
  • Technically-minded and possess the ability to solve complex problems
  • Principal place of work will be in the M-Factor offices in San Mateo, CA
  • Travel could be 10-20%
