Program Manager

The Program Manager leads the implementation of complex analytical software solutions including coordinating resources and project tasks according to schedule and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Work with project team to determine and identify scope implications.
  • Rigorously manage project scope, risk and quality.
  • Anticipate and identify issues that may prevent deliverables and develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Proactively identify and communicate issues impacting the project to the Client management team and internally to the M-Factor management team.
  • Understand the client’s business process and requirements and work with the project team to successfully integrate the product solution into the client’s environment.
  • Ensure that application systems are developed to comply with architectural standards and established methodologies and techniques.
  • Act as liaison in aligning project strategy with overall customer strategy to ensure desired value/benefits are delivered to the customer.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience managing large-scale software implementations including configuration of product to meet client requirements.
  • Experience with analytical predictive or optimization software preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software development process and implementation methodology.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of Project Management.
  • Proven track record in reporting and managing project budget and schedule.
  • PMI Certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in identifying project coordination problems and overall problem resolution involving multiple internal and external parties.
  • Ability to work on multiple, concurrent tasks and ability to prioritize tasks to maximize productivity and synergies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address complex problems within the technical arena and skill to develop creative and practical recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively - presentation, verbal and written.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; an advanced business or technical degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 30-50%.
