DPRO 4 Platform M-Factor’s Dynamic Profit and Revenue Optimization (DPRO) 4 Platform provides the technology backbone for the M4, T4, and P4 solutions. It contains specific components for collecting, transforming, and verifying the requisite input data, developing and updating custom-built demand models, and for executing sophisticated analytics, simulation, and optimization calculations using the data and models.
At the heart of the DPRO 4 Platform is the PrOLAP® Predictive Analytics Server. Its embedded optimization, simulation, and analytics engines have the power to analyze the complex, non-linear interactions of consumer demand across accounts, markets, channels; between competitive and complementary products; through various seasons; and in consideration of any number or type of marketing vehicles, pricing scenarios, competitive actions, cannibalization effects, or environmental factors. It is based on proprietary and patent-pending technologies that are both scalable and flexible to support enterprise-class implementations. The DPRO 4 Platform also includes M-Factor’s patented modeling software application. It is based on state-of-the-art statistical estimation algorithms is designed specifically for demand model estimations. It is used both for initial model development as well as to update and modify existing demand models as the market environment changes. Developing models within the customer analytical framework in which they will be exercised enables evaluation of the models using instantly available business analyses such as volume variation ("due-to") and volume decomposition. The entire process is transparent, allowing M-Factor modelers to work interactively with customers to incorporate specific business feedback. This approach is very different from most traditional "black-box" approaches to modeling and greatly increases model quality. Finally, the DPRO 4 Platform contains a rich set of data tools that allow Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) of data from disparate sources into the client environment as soon as it's delivered from the market. Importantly, rigorous data validation capabilities are embedded to enable identification of data issues before they impact the models or results. The DPRO 4 Platform also provides the interface for managing the flexible metadata definitions that allow configuration of the solution for each individual client. The DPRO 4 Platform supports SSL, a configurable strong password authentication, strictly enforced user roles, and a Data Security Layer to ensure security and prevent unauthorized access. |
